Seren Bertrand is an award-winning writer, and author of two bestselling books on the sacred feminine traditions rebirthed for our modern world. She has a degree in English Literature and Modern Philosophy, and has devoted her life to studying and sharing the stories and wisdom of the lost feminine traditions that help us vision our world with new eyes.
In 2017 she won 5 international awards, including a Nautilus Award for Womb Awakening, which was described as a 'revelation, magnificent and a masterpiece'. In 2020, she published her acclaimed book on Mary Magdalene - Magdalene Mysteries - which reexamined what we know about this important spiritual feminine figure. Her next book Spirit Weaver - Wisdom Teachings From the Feminine Path of Magic' is released in 2022, with conversational and inspiring writings on the path of feminine magic, and how to find grace and transformation in the simple treasures of our everyday life and our connection to nature.
For almost 7 years, she ran a global school devoted to feminine spiritual traditions, working with myth, symbology, and feminine somatic practice. She has curated the highlights of this feminine curriculum into a series of seven audio books, titled Womb Mystery School, featuring mystic conversations, teaching transmissions, meditations and ceremonies. The audio book series is released in 2022.
As a successful writer and journalist, she was nominated for an Amnesty International Award for her reporting on the plight of female Tibetan refugees for the British women's press. She was also nominated for IPC/Time Warner Writer of the year for her reporting in the women's press. Her writing includes publications such as Grazia, Observer/Guardian and Sage magazine, plus appearances for the BBC.
