A FELLOW TRAVELLER

I am walking too.
I don't share these songs, stories and practices because I have arrived.
I share them because I am walking too.

I have spent much of my life asking questions.

Who am I?

What is Love?

What does it mean to be free?

How do we live fully in this beautiful, fragile human life?

Those questions have carried me across oceans and mountains, into temples and forests, through music and silence, into relationship, and again and again back to the simplest place of all —

this moment.

Along the way, I have been blessed by teachers, traditions, friends, strangers, lovers, lands and moments of Grace that have reminded me of something I seem to continually forget:

What we are seeking is not somewhere else.

It is here.

In the body.
In the breath.
In the person standing before us.
In the earth beneath our feet.
In the silence between two notes.
In the ordinary miracle of being alive.

My work has taken many forms—songs, books, poetry, meditation, movement, gatherings and sacred spaces—but beneath them all is the same invitation:

to remember.
To remember the body as sacred.
To remember that we belong.
To remember that another person is not separate from us.
To remember that Love is not merely something we feel.

Love is something we become.

I don't believe there is only one path home.
I have walked beside many rivers.
Yoga and meditation.
Music and prayer.
Martial arts and movement.
Ancient teachings and indigenous wisdom.
Relationship and solitude.
Joy and heartbreak.
Stillness and service.

Each has carried something to the same great Ocean.
And perhaps that is why I create.
Not to tell anyone which river to follow.
But to leave a few songs beside the path.
A few words.
A place to sit.
A reminder to breathe.
And perhaps, every now and then, to walk beside someone for a while.
There is no teacher here and student there.
No one ahead.
No one behind.
Just travellers meeting along the way, each carrying something the other may need.

So if something you find here opens your heart, makes you pause, helps you remember, or simply makes you feel a little less alone, then this offering has found its way home.

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for walking your path.
Perhaps our paths have crossed for a reason.
And while they do —
let us walk together.
