Born in Belleville NJ in 1964, I attended a private catholic high school graduating in 1982. I kept a diary during 1978 and compiled a scrapbook book for every year after that through college in Washington, DC. This collection inspired my writing, where I came up with the idea of a lifelong relationship that contains elements of several different relationships of mine during those years. It worked!
April's Heart was published in 2020, and a Fifth Anniversary Edition came out in 2025! This edition includes not only the paperback and ebook, but also an audiobook I produced all myself! It took tons of time to just learn how to edit and master audio, so truly a labor of love.
I took the original front cover photo and used AI to create an oil painting rendition to make the new cover "the same, but different". I love the way it turned out!
