Simon Harling is a former Managing Director of Wales' first independent sports science facility and author of Good Coach Bad Coach: Build A Practice Where You Belong. After 20+ years in elite sport—including first-team coaching at Brentford FC—Simon has come to realise the badge on the tracksuit matters less than the person wearing it. He focuses on coach development and coaching philosophy, having founded Coach Camp (an unconference coach education event) and coaching grassroots youth football in Cardiff. He writes a blog and weekly newsletter on sports coaching, creativity, and personal growth.
