I’m a mom of three, and honestly… they’re my whole world. Life gets busy, loud, and a little messy sometimes, but I’ve learned to love the chaos. When I get a quiet moment, you’ll probably find me outside on a trail, lost in a good book, or writing down the thoughts I don’t always say out loud.
At 35, I did something that scared me, I walked away from nursing. Not because it didn’t matter, but because my heart was pulling me somewhere else. I wanted to be in a place where I could make a difference in a different kind of way… with kids, with their stories, with their futures.
Now I’m working in education and going back to school at Toccoa Falls College, chasing a Bachelor of Science degree. Some days are exhausting. Some days I question myself. But I keep going, because growth doesn’t happen in comfort, and I’ve never been someone who stays still.
My story isn’t perfect. It’s real. It’s full of change, faith, doubt, and starting over.
And maybe that’s the point… I’m still becoming who I’m meant to be.
