Hi! I'm Steve Cabain. I've played guitar for well over 40 years. I've been the lead guitarist in numerous bands and also taken part in a number of recording sessions. I enjoy playing both acoustic and electric guitar (each has their merit) and I play a variety of styles from Folk, Blues and Pop through to Classic Rock and Metal, although I'd say most of the time I play Rock or Metal.
I teach guitar on a part time basis and enjoy passing my enjoyment of the guitar on to others. Crucial Guitar Basics is an extension of this approach.
I live in Surrey, on the outskirts of London and am married with 3 children and an extensive collection of guitars!
