Steven Decker is the author of twenty-three novels, including the recently released Sci-Fi Adventure Series: The Chronicles of Davorin Mote.
Steven’s love of writing was born the day he threw a spitball in 5th grade. Instead of punishment, his teacher, Mrs. Brewer, handed him a book of poetry and told him to memorize Robert Frost's "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" — and recite it to the class the next day. Mrs. Brewer hit a home run.
Inspired by Frost's ability to paint a picture and generate deep emotion with the written word, Steven fell in love with reading, writing, and storytelling. As an 8th grader, he devoured the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy for fun. At the University of Virginia, he chose to write a thesis — not because he had to, but because he wanted to. Later, while traveling the world for work, he kept writing, and those global experiences shaped the worlds he creates.
