I help entrepreneurs leverage their business for spiritual growth (your business is showing you why you incarnated) and use spiritual tools to release inner blockages that show up in business. This moment in human history: AI is turning intelligence into a cheap commodity. Just being smart won’t matter as much as it has in the past. Emotional intelligence will be mandatory for any business to survive, the way we expect someone to use email. There are many intelligences and plenty of them will still matter. The one I work with, the part no machine can do for you, is spiritual intelligence. Everything I do helps you strengthen it. My path into this work started with an experiment. I'd been reading Serge Kahili King and tried a soul retrieval for my wife while she slept. I made the shamanic journey to the Underworld, found a split-off part of her, brought it back, and blew it toward her spine. From a dead sleep she sat up, said "Underworld, Underworld," lay back down, and started snoring. I decided I needed to learn more. That was more than twenty years ago. Since then, I've studied in the Hawaiian tradition with Serge Kahili King and Phil Kihonua Young, and for the past seven years with Daniel Stone, a shaman whose teaching draws from the Toltec path. I'm also a Certified Hypnotherapist, an NLP Master Practitioner, and a Guro (teacher) of Kali, a Filipino martial art. I've built several businesses of my own, and most of what I know I learned the expensive way: my business problems were almost always spiritual issues wearing practical costumes. Becoming the Conduit: Spiritual Mechanics for the Entrepreneur is the book I needed twenty years ago, so I wrote it. My first book, Soulful Resilience, came out of my own healing work and teaching healing practices to parents estranged from their adult children. It showed me these tools hold up under real pain. I work privately with entrepreneurs, and I hold retreats in places of intense natural beauty and power. Off the clock: camping, motorcycles, and homebrewing beer and mead.
