I'm both trans-Atlantic and trans-continental, at home in San Francisco and Florida, and with a large and boisterous extended family in England. I've been a journalist; marketing and public relations director for a safari park, and fundraiser for schools and non-profit organizations. I'm a Star Trek geek. I have a Starfleet Academy decal on my car and wore a communicator pin on my graduation gown. I have a small and prized collection of first editions, signed editions and otherwise interesting mysteries. I also collect royal commemorative mugs, which are produced for the births, Christenings, marriages and coronations of the English Royals. I love them beyond reason, but they have no redeeming value whatsoever. I'm a member of the Mystery Writers of America. My first published mystery novel, "The Man on the Washing Machine," was the winning entry in the First Crime Novel competition jointly sponsored by the Mystery Writers of America and Minotaur Books. The second Theo Bogart mystery, "The Man in the Microwave Oven," is a November, 2020 release from Minotaur Books.
