Sylvia Hatchell is the head coach of the women's basketball team at the University of North Carolina. She currently has the third most career wins in NCAA women's basketball history and is in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame. In 2013, Hatchell was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, one of the most serious forms of leukemia for a woman of her age. Sylvia is passionate about encouraging people to fight and press on through life's many storms instead of sinking into despair and negativity.
