He is the author of The Unhappy Medium series, where sceptics, ghosts, and bureaucracy collide in a world that refuses to behave rationally.
His great loves are history, comedy, science, secondhand books, Sunday roast dinners, and those metal head massager things. He's half Welsh and two-thirds English and grew up by the sea. Brown works, lives and writes in rural Shropshire, where there are far too many pubs and flipping huge castles.
His literary influences include GK Chesterton, Flann O'Brien and Spike Milligan.
