T. Russell Jones was born in the Midlands in England. While still young, her family moved to Bude in Cornwall. She spent much of her free time exploring the secluded beaches and climbing the towering cliffs in the area. She married her High School sweetheart, an American, and moved to the United states. There they raised a family, and have indeed lived "in interesting times" in rural Georgia.
