TJ Hawk was born in Chicago, Illinois. Over the course of the last half-century, he traveled to remote locations throughout Asia, establishing command centers for disaster relief flights. He built and flight-tested a full-sized experimental aircraft and has extensive experience instructing new pilots in helicopters, ultra-lights, sport planes, jets, and cargo aircraft.
Hawk served as a Department of Homeland Security Assistant Federal Security Director, a Marketing Director, and before that, commanded an Air Force special operations flying squadron.
Today, he is a storyteller living with his wife and two daughters in the central Philippines.
