Author Tanya Blackston Stephens has always enjoyed speaking to family and friends through written communcation. Some would say she has a propensity for writing. Not to say she isn't a talker, because she definitely engages in that, too.
In 2024, she self published She Keeps A Clean House, which is prayerfully the first of many. Mrs. Stephens is employed as a paraprofessional. She works with the nation's military connected children. Which prompted her to currently look into expanding her reading audience, although this is a work in progress it is one she is hoping to fulfill.
Tanya, along with her supportive and loving husband Tony, collectively have six adult children. From their union they have eight wonderful grandchildren together. Tanya comes from a sizeable Philly family. She is a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, bestie, in-law, co-worker, neighbor and friend to many. Although she is a native of Philadelphia, she currently resides with her husband in the state of South Carolina. She is a member of The Pillar of Truth Church and receives their love and support in all of her endeavors. Tanya is a caring and thoughtful individual, one who loves to reach out to everyone to let them know they are on her mind.
She loves to sing off-key. She adores warm weather, bird watching, and beautiful surroundings. Her eclectic taste in music spans decades, she says "she has never met a song she didn't like". When she isn't watching a movie she will resort to her Cloffice to write/edit her next novel. Her pastimes are eating her favorite foods, re-watching a collection of movies and TV shows from the eighties, redecorating her home, watching HGTV, playing with her fur babies and listening to a diverse selection of true crime podcasts.
She has since published two more books. One from the SHE is...Shànteys series, it is titled SHE Maintains A Forest Of Secrets.
