Author and certified life coach Teresa Brunsting is thrilled to debut her first full-length book with Finding Normal in Bipolar. Although she loved her twenty-year career working in progressively more advanced roles in computer graphics and training, her favorite roles have been as a wife and mother. That’s why she is on a mission to help wives and mothers who are hoping to live out those God-given roles well. After her own journey in dealing with these already challenging roles with bipolar disorder, she especially has a soft spot for ladies who are still discovering how to cope with fluctuating emotions. She is grateful for God’s grace that has sustained her forty-year journey of living with bipolar. Friends would call her kind, steady, and reliable. She is passionate about sharing her coping strategies and life lessons with others through one-on-one coaching. She imparts lessons to help her clients to come to peace with whatever comes their way, believing God brings good out of every experience. Writing a book and going back into the most difficult parts of her story has been much more difficult than she thought, but Teresa believes that if she helps one person in the darkest places or on any part of the journey, it will be worth it. She credits her perseverance to relying on God and counting her blessings, principles her beloved grandmother passed down to her. Teresa’s writings have appeared in a magazine entitled As for Me and My House and in an anthology called Resilience featuring the Warrior Writer community she is blessed to be a part of, led by Missy Maxwell Worton. She has been featured on Parent Compass TV, and she speaks on various women’s issues including overcoming bipolar, international adoption, parenting, becoming bold, and the effects of inner healing on mental health. Teresa is a loving wife to Doug, who she has been married to for three decades, mother to her adult children Cooper and Olivia, and a dog mom to Gracie. Most recently she has become a grand dog mother to her son’s dog, Riku.
