Teri Arvesú González is an award-winning media executive, journalist, strategist, professor, author, executive producer, and founder whose career spans storytelling, leadership, business transformation, and social impact.
A 15-time Emmy Award winner with more than 25 years of experience in media and communications, Teri has led newsrooms in major U.S. markets, developed cross-platform content strategies, launched high-impact initiatives, and built partnerships that strengthen business performance and community impact. She has also served as executive producer of three documentaries, extending her work into long-form and impact-driven storytelling.
Her career has included senior leadership roles in Spanish-language media overseeing content, social impact, sustainability, nonprofit partnerships, philanthropy, and audience engagement.
Teri is a professor at St. Thomas University, where she brings decades of real-world media experience into the classroom, helping the next generation of communicators think critically about storytelling, audience, credibility, media literacy, public speaking, and the evolving communications landscape.
She is also the founder of The TAG Collab, a strategy and thought-leadership platform exploring leadership, performance, confidence, reinvention, identity, storytelling, and the behavioral forces that influence people and organizations.
A longtime advocate for using media as a force for good, Teri serves on the board of Journalism Funding Partners and has worked across the corporate, philanthropic, media, and nonprofit sectors to create initiatives that inform, empower, and generate social value.
Teri holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership. As an author and speaker, she explores ambition, innovation, corporate design and performance, cultural duality, generational patterns, leadership, and reinvention, often asking how much of the lives we are living we consciously chose—and how much we inherited.
