Hi! I'm Tessa, and I love families, children, books, and baking. Back when I thought change happened from the top down, I was sure that a bachelor's degree and letters behind my name were the only way to validate my existence on the world stage.
However, one day, while watching my four children tussle about as their magical laughter perfumed the air, I realized that the world stage is not nearly as important as the home front. Thus, I began writing the stories of the delightfully quirky world of Astrid Beeswax and her town of Doily Dayle because the literary landscape needs a thorough dousing of wholesome laughter. My fictional series is full of the realities of being human and the irreplaceable joy that comes from family bonds, whether forged by blood or woven carefully together with strands of love.
My first book, Liberated from Silence, which is not intended for young readers, details the miraculous transformation of my life that began in tragedy and has since become one full of blessings and hope. My cozy adventures are a part of that hope captured in stories written from my heart.
