Tom Gloude Whittaker is a writer, CEO, and dog dad who lives in Colorado with his husband, Dale, and their happily spoiled rescue dog, Emmy. He's the CEO of a digital agency he genuinely loves, where he leads an incredible team of technologists and strategists. When his husband isn't prying the laptop from his hands, he writes fiction that explores identity, connection, and the awkward, beautiful mess of being human.
He is the author of three books: The Soundtrack of Gay Lives, a short story collection more than a decade in the making; Things I Probably Shouldn't Share, a confessional essay collection that turns Monopoly meltdowns, bad jobs, strange vacations, and everyday disasters into something hilarious and surprisingly moving; and The Summer Before We Left, a coming-of-age mystery about a group of teenagers who discover things at their country club summer job that they were never supposed to see.
