Tyler James is a native Texan and has never moved to any other state. He earned a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do in 2008, and 2022, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. He discovered his passion for creative writing as he was finishing his degree and ended up publishing his first ever novella, "The Blue Flamed Angel" in November 2024, and can be purchased in paperback, e-book, and audiobook versions. Tyler is currently in the process of writing a novel outside of the biblical fiction-fantasy genre and plans to finish the novel no later than the end of December 2025.
