Formerly a writer of paranormal television (THE X-FILES, CHARMED), Valerie is now sowing mischief of the normal kind as a college writing instructor. She lives in Los Angeles, with her husband, who writes horror, her children, who can be horrors, and more cats than she cares to admit to in print. Valerie received her B.F.A. from New York's prestigious The Juilliard School, and later studied Theology and Art at The Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena.
