Victoria Grossack’s newest novel is THE BATH MURDERS: A MYSTERY SET IN THE CITY OF JANE AUSTEN'S PERSUASION. Other novels in this series include THE MERYTON MURDERS (Pride & Prejudice), THE HIGHBURY MURDERS (Emma) and THE MANSFIELD PARK MURDERS, all set in the Jane Austen universes.
She's currently working on a completely different series, MESSING WITH THE MYTHS. It starts with THE MAXOTAUR, in which Daedalus, Icarus (Icky) and three animal friends are trapped on Crete during the time of the Minotaur. Instead of going into the Labyrinth to face that monster, our heroes go into the stomachs of the Maxotaur, a giant cow goddess. This story messes with Greek mythology; the second, THE BOOK OF THE LIVING, messes with Egyptian mythology. RAGNAROK & ROLL visits the far north and has fun with Norse mythology. More stories based on other mythologies are in the works.
Victoria also wrote the Crow Nickels (chronicles), a trilogy about crows doing their best to save the world: HUNTERS OF THE FEATHER, SCAVENGERS OF MINDS, and FAMILIARS OF THE FLOCK.
Victoria partnered with Alice Underwood on the Tapestry of Bronze: JOCASTA: THE MOTHER-WIFE OF OEDIPUS, ANTIGONE & CREON: GUARDIANS OF THEBES, CLYTEMNESTRA: THE MOTHER'S BLADE and the Niobe trilogy: CHILDREN OF TANTALUS, THE ROAD TO THEBES, and ARROWS OF ARTEMIS.
