Victoria Laurienzo was born in Texas but has lived in Florida long enough to consider herself a naturalized Floridian. Her love of stories began early, with Nancy Drew mysteries read late into the night by the glow of a little birdhouse night-light over her bed.
Victoria earned a degree in English Education, later studied graphic arts, and spent many years working as a publications specialist. Music was her first love, and she led her church choir for more than twenty years before health circumstances required her to give it up. Writing became the creative outlet she had always kept in the back of her mind.
An avid traveler, Victoria believes she is never quite as alive as when she is on a journey. Ireland is her favorite destination, and its beauty, history, and spirit continue to inspire her work. Her novels often explore travel, family secrets, questions of parentage, and the deep human longing to know our heritage.
An unabashed Catholic Christian, Victoria's faith is bound to show up in her works.
