I was playing my brothers piano lessons while he was at school. I was 4 and took lessons later. Every time we moved, I played a different instrument. Piano, violin, flute. Found a guitar in the basement and was told no way, with extra cheese. Of course, I play guitar. Music was always my glue. An era of professional work forced me to begin using my hands for something more lucrative.
In my book “ I Am Worthy”, I recall where that life path took me. I had no concept that I could ask for something and get it. Having your prayers answered and knowing it is an amazing, stunning event after the life I knew. Later, I understood why I was gifted with so many talents and the heart to manage them.
One of my wishes needed all my heart and all my skills to keep her protected. So many people never knew she had Parkinson’s disease. As her caretaker, I learned that I could never learn enough to keep her safe. Thankfully, we had time to talk and work out many details that would arise. Our estate will be turned over to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research through a trust

The book will be a factor as well as my original music, in how proudly our estate will stand at the death of Parkinson’s disease. PD hurts everyone that loved someone that fought this battle with grace. I love you all.
