Dr. Wednesday Boateng, a New Orleans native with Ghanaian roots, currently resides in the Boston area. As a periodic homeschooler, Wednesday draws inspiration from her experiences as a parent and educator to craft stories that are culturally relevant and align with academic learning objectives. Her titles to date include: "C is for Cowgirl," three books in the Little Kofi series ("Akwaaba, Kofi!," "Gyae, Kofi!," "Me dɔ wow Kofi!"), and "Who Colored Jesus?" She is available for pop-up readings, school assemblies, writing/cultural presentations, early childhood literacy talks, and more!
