Yvonne Sifuentes is the author of the famous children's jiu-jitsu books. She currently has 3 books out; "The Shih Tzu Who Knew Jiu Jitsu", "Leo Is Courageous Just Like You", and "The Shih Tzu Who Taught Jiu Jitsu". She is also a certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu instructor and an elementary school teacher. Her desire to write children's books stems from her own jiu-jitsu journey. She was born and raised in Austin, TX but currently resides in the city of Seguin. She continues her journey to inspire others and serve God's intended purpose for her.
