I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1944 and have lived in West Virginia since my then-husband and I bought a 40-acre farm in 1972. He's still on the farm, but I moved around the state a bit. In addition to freelance writing, i worked as a secretary and a college English professor before retiring in 2014.
I've been writing since I was about ten years old. I hope that reading my romance novels brings you as much pleasure as writing them has given me. Having completed my romantasy (the new name for "paranormal") series, I am now writing a historical romance series set in the eighteenth century.
When not writing, I enjoy
Exercise (water aerobics, walking, and yoga)
Opera (great music, fantastic performers, but way too many dead heroines--When the Met changes their Carmen production, why don't they let her escape at the end?)
Bird-watching
Books, TV, and movies (anything except horror and military)
Travel, most recently a chance to join my older granddaughter on a school trip to Europe.
A smart, sassy cat named Coconut
And last, like the stars on the top of the Christmas tree,
My family, especially my amazing granddaughters, who are growing up far too fast! The older one is now in college; the younger one will soon be eleven going on sixteen. Where does the time go?
