Zy Wolf was born in California and raised in Washington, D.C. Over the years, they’ve called Raleigh, New York City, and Louisville home. Their writing grows out of what’s been lived—love, loss, resilience—and the quiet work of learning how to belong to yourself again. Their first published work, Unstuck, was written in that in-between space, when life slows down just enough to make you face what’s underneath. It’s not about pretending things didn’t happen—it’s about understanding them, sitting with them, and finding some kind of peace in the process. Zy writes for anyone who’s ever had to start over and is still figuring out what that means.
