So bad it’s almost good

I can’t believe I sorta kinda liked this. It’s so inconceivably unrealistic that I actually got mad at some points... but I kept listening because I wanted to know what happened. It’s short enough, and it was a free download, so there’s that. The narrator helps. Oddly, even though it was bad, I’m about to listen to the next one. Because it’s so bad, it’s almost entertaining.

Seriously fun!

For those who have listened to Nick Pirog's Thomas Prescott series the Henry Bins series is what made Pirog famous. Pirog started self publishing for the Kindle format with Henry Bins. These books are marvelously creative and great fun. The short audio versions of this five book series are drastically overpriced, so it's best to wait for the September 24 release of the five novels in one audio book. Jamie Renell's narration is superb.

The short publisher's summary sets up 3:00 AM (and the entire series) perfectly.

Fun gimmick, competent story

A fun gimmick, and an interesting mystery. Taking off some points because it’s not as funny as it thinks it is (especially the sections when he talks to his cat, which go on far too long for someone who measures his life in minutes lost).

Couldn't stop.

Absolutely loved everything except the length. Much shorter than the other books by this author. I'm starting the next book now!

A Great Listen

Nick Pirog Definately has a way with stories and this one surely does not disappoint. One of the great things is the conversations with Lassie... lol. You will have lots of fun with this.

Loved it!

Nick Pirog is becoming one of my favorite authors. This is a short & sweet installment. Crime revealed & solved in a little over 2 hours. Love that Henry Bins' condition is explored as well. Good Listen!

A delightful surprise!

I stumbled across this short book because it was free with audible. What a delightful surprise! I was not previously familiar with the narrator or the author, but both have knocked it out of the park with a story! The story itself is intriguing, entertaining, and had several funny parts. Lots of good twists along the way. The narration was top notch! I plan on researching more books from this author and more from the narrator as well!

My new binge series

A small part of my brain kept saying that this was not very plausible, but most of my brain was really into the story and having no problems with willing suspension of disbelief.
