Story
Lissianna has been spending her centuries pining for Mr. Right, not just a quick snack, and this sexy guy she finds in her bed looks like he might be a candidate. But there's another, more pressing issue: her tendency to faint at the sight of blood . . . an especially annoying quirk for a vampire. Of course it doesn't hurt that this man has a delicious-looking neck. What kind of cold-blooded vampire woman could resist a bite of that?

Story
Cathal MacNachton and Connall MacAdie are cousins bound by far more than blood ties and the rugged Highland landscape their clan calls home. The ancient curse of their ancestry has fated them to live by night with an unquenchable thirst that neither can tame. The only thing that can save their souls is marriage to Outsiders - mortals whose untainted blood will weaken the curse in their children and break the chains of fear that have made their clan a breed apart.

Story
Sorcha knew the mission was dangerous. Leaving the safe grounds of her brother's kingdom and parlaying with the elves across their border...well, treachery seemed at least as likely as true peace. But to support her sister, Sorcha would brave far more than the underhanded ways of the elves. Or so she thought, before she was taken hostage.

Story
Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

Publisher's Summary
Once bitten, twice shy, and sexy P.I. Jackie Morrisey wasn't going there again. Vincent Argeneau may be the hottest guy she's ever met, living or dead, but she's here to stop a killer from turning this vampire into dust, not to jump into bed with him.
Rule #2:Never kiss a vampire...it can be a pain in the neck.
Okay, so Vincent's had 400 years to perfect his kissing skills, and he does look rather tempting when he runs around the house shirtless. He's also charming, protective...did we mention he can kiss? Jackie needs to be on her guard, or else she'll have to come up with a new rule: If you're going to fall in love with a vampire, make sure it's a bite to remember.

A bite to remember
Great writer but I edited out the sex, it gets way to detailed. I also think this book could be narrated better by someone not so robotic sounding. She sounded like she had a computer voice at times.

Needs a new Narrator
Love the book but again this narrator sucks. Theres a strange cadence to her reading. She seems to pause in the strangest places. The guys do a better job with this series.

Good writer as usual **TERRIBLE narrator
I agree with earlier reviews. Lynsay Sands is a good writer, but this narrator sounds over breathy and robotic. I will not download the next if it is a the same one...

This narrator should be fired!
Would you try another book from Lynsay Sands and/or Victoria McGee?
Either You should refund all of Victoria McGee's books, or offer a new narrator for free.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I tried to just skip through the book so I could get the jest of the story, but that was even too Torturous.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Bite to Remember?
NEVER!!!!!
Any additional comments?
Please, re-record all of McGees books and offer them to those of us who have purchased them.

A Bite to Remember: Argeneau Vampires, Book 5
The book was great; however, I was very disappointed in the reader! Her voice was too monotone and seemingly uninteresting. I did not even finish the audio book and instead purchased the hard copy to read.
Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion!

I liked it!
I thought this was a great book, and the narration was pretty good as well, I like the voice. The story is a love story but it has a twist on it, if you like vampire romance with a little bit of thrill to keep you on your toes then you will like this book.

Cute, but soooo formulaic
Would you try another book from Lynsay Sands and/or Victoria McGee?
The story is getting really formulaic; mortal bumps into a gorgeous immortal, instant connection that one or both half heartily resist, together they overcome a problem, in the end they realize they are in love, one or both spend a chapter or two hung up on stupid paper thin neurosis and self esteem issues only to proclaim their love and start planning a wedding.
Would you be willing to try another book from Lynsay Sands? Why or why not?
Maybe, only until I find a better author.

Vincent's Story
I enjoyed this story. Vincent the poor vampire who has to get his meals on wheels. Jackie and Tiny lost control of tthe case when uninvited guests show up and just sorta take over the guarding business. However, Jackie still got in trouble, so much so she became the newest vampire, but the shocker was who her master was. Blew me away! Totally loved Marguerite, one cool lady. Can't wait for her story.

AVOID THIS NARRATOR ! ! !
The story was 4 stars but the narrator was worse than horrible. I forced myself to listen because I paid for the audiobook. I will NEVER buy another audiobook narrated by this woman. Avoid this narrator at all costs.

Too short
The big reveal of the killer was wayyyy too easy. Would’ve liked to see them may be working with Cassius 🤷🏾♀️

A fantastic set of books which have the right balance of intrigue and romance. They are such an easy listen
