A solemn story performed well

A very different story from Georgette Heyer rather on a solemn side. It beautifully brings about the various facets and complications of human personalities. Ms Heyer kept my emotions hooked with Jenny throughout, and never could I complain about over the top changes in the characters that developed across the pages, painstakingly.
