Nice way to escape reality

The main character (heroine) of this book was insufferable in the first half of the book. She is equal parts warrior and damsel-in-distress. And the second half reminded me slightly of Goblet of Fire so it wasn't so terrible.
Anyway, it was a nice way to escape reality.

the perfect reintroduction to fantasy fiction

This book was a brilliant reintroduction to a genre I had put aside many years ago. A book for those who want to escape reality entirely and enter the 'spring' court, and be taken on a journey that's thrilling till the very end — read on Audible, and i highly recommend it!

I knew the answer to the riddle the minute I heard it. Not sure if that's a good thing ❄️

(I got a bit bored with the romance bits, maybe I'm too jaded for this, but loved that the second half picked up pace without it)

Transported to the faerie world of prythian!!

I really loved the way Sarah J Maas built the characters, the description of the emotions etc. You cannot help yourself but swing into this fantasy world of Prythian. It's definitely a 4.5 star book for me. The shortfall, I felt, was because, some parts were so similar to most of the vampire werewolf stories that I could guess what was going to happen. That being ignored, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one. Although I had to listen to the narration in 1.20x speed as I felt the first part was too slow. Rest is all good.😊
On my way to start ACOMAF.. Happy listening!🎧

Not for me

Struggled to finish. Very predictive and slow to start with. No characters I rooted for. Lead was getting on my nerves.

It’s quite a drag

Repetitive and extremely dull. Kept waiting for it to pick up pace and make sense. It’s more fifty shades of grey than fantasy.
