When Feyre kills a wolf, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a magical land Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal. As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it...©2015 Sarah J. Maas (P)2015 Recorded Books Inc Action & Adventure Fantasy Romance Science Fiction & Fantasy

The story kept going on in my mind even as I slept on the days that I was listening to it. The narration is absolutely impeccable. Enjoyed every second of it.

Gripping, heart breaking, lovely

I really loved the way Sarah J Maas built the characters, the description of the emotions etc. You cannot help yourself but swing into this fantasy world of Prythian. It's definitely a 4.5 star book for me. The shortfall, I felt, was because, some parts were so similar to most of the vampire werewolf stories that I could guess what was going to happen. That being ignored, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one. Although I had to listen to the narration in 1.20x speed as I felt the first part was too slow. Rest is all good.😊
On my way to start ACOMAF.. Happy listening!🎧

Transported to the faerie world of prythian!!
