Hear the most captivating historical debut of the year!

Kitty Talbot needs a fortune. Love is not required…

She’s got just twelve weeks to find a rich husband and save her sisters–and she must use every ounce of cunning and ingenuity she possesses to climb London society if she is to succeed.

The only person she can’t fool is Lord Radcliffe, who sees straight through her plans, and is determined to stop her at any cost.

There is not a day to lose and no one–not even a lord–will stand in her way…

Critic Reviews

"This book captivated me. What a sassy, witty, delicious tale. Kitty Talbot is a fabulous, fearless heroine." (Sophie Kinsella, The Party Crasher)

"A thoroughly modern heroine with wit, style and energy…a formidable Austentacious talent." (Janice Hallett, The Appeal)

"Plucky, witty and bright, with one dainty slipper poised in the present and another one firmly rooted in the past. Readers of Jane Austen and fans of Bridgeton will swoon." (Nita Prose, author of The Maid)

I found the story to be expertly crafted. While it lightened the tone of a sister's desperate struggle to save her family, I couldn't help but feel saddened by Kitty's plight. There were moments when Cecily's pompous attitude was so frustrating, I felt like slapping her.

Fortune hunting indeed!
