A perfect light read over the holidays!

A sweet story that is a perfect chick lit escape. Mandy Baggot’s characters are engaging and her story is holiday romance at its best. Emma Powell’s narration is some of the best I’ve heard!

interesting story touching on loss, and love

enjoyable story to listen to by a good author, a couple meeting and finding a connection, tragedy in the past nearly ruining things but love conquors in the end, i liked it.

It’s a wonderful life...

I only made it halfway through this book. I’m sure it was just as good as last year’s Christmas book by Mandy but I couldn’t face it this year. It’s so depressing!

If you’re of a sensitive disposition this Christmas, as so many of us in lockdown may well be I’d avoid this book. Buy it next year when things are a little more rosey and the thought of injuries, transplants, terminal illnesses and all the drama that goes with them are easier to handle. I know I will.
