His past work experience and lessons from times of operating in both USA and China is invaluable for anyone who wants to know about future of AI. what is very enlightening is he also ends up concluding that ultimately it is the "Emotional warmth" that trumps over technology progress. and despite growth of AI, emotional intelligence will continue to be the most important source of happiness.

This is a good book to get an overview of AI technology even if you are not a technologically inclined person. You don't have to be an expert in AI or even a student of the technology to understand and enjoy this book. It also gives some glimpses into the Chinese technology and start up market.
