The murder that gripped the nation

A 14-year-old girl is killed in her home along with the family servant. Within weeks, her dentist parents, the Talwars, are the prime suspects; four years later, they are on trial and then convicted.

But did they do it?

Now comes the ultimate retelling of the story. Avirook Sen has followed the court case, examined all the CBI documents and interviewed the investigators, lawyers, and Aarushi's family and friends. In Aarushi he writes a gripping account of the murder, the events that followed, and tries to answer the biggest question of all.

Brilliant book let down by TERRIBLE narration

The narration would've been better performed by a bot. Ruins the work. AVOID this version. I was initially excited that the book was read by someone with a South Asian/Indian accent. However, the incorrect pronunciation of basic words such as 'narrative', 'laboratory' and 'orgy' make it impossible for the listener to get immersed in the story. The tone is so flat that I often wondered if it was being read by a bot. The pacing is atrocious and the pace only sounds 'normal' at 1.25x speed. An excellent book completely let down by shockingly awful narration. Please avoid this version - you are better off reading the paperback.
