It's story is very good. And Narration is Awesome. It tells about Raja Dusyant and Shakuntala.

I've always heard this was a masterpiece and perhaps it is for the period it was created in. But it does feel a little tacky (again maybe it was inventive for the time) but it also puts into perspective how our dramas/stories have evolved with this theme also the writing style of our epics and myths in general. The narration is good but perhaps a touch over-the-top at times, sometimes subtly can be more poignant.
