Maggie und Jupp, hochbetagt und nicht mehr in Bestform, brechen mit ihrem alten Porsche zu einer letzten gemeinsamen Reise auf. Schon das Einsteigen wird zur Herausforderung, und einen Führerschein hat er auch schon lange nicht mehr. Kaum losgefahren, verliert er - ausgerechnet in Amsterdam - seine Maggie, die immer vergesslicher wird. Unversehens wird sie zum ungebetenen Gast in einem Auto, das zwei tollpatschigen Drogendealern gehört. Als wäre das nicht schon schlimm genug, bringt sie auch noch ungewollt einen ganzen Bus voller Schweizer Chorsänger dazu, alle Hemmungen und Hüllen fallen zu lassen.

Am Ende haben sie nicht nur die Gangster, sondern auch noch die Polizei und ihre beiden Kinder auf den Fersen und ahnen nichts davon.

Ach herrje! ist eine tiefschwarze, bittersüße Komödie.
