Publisher's Summary

I'm Matt Hadder. I've been called ruthless, savage - even brutal - by the men and women who work for me. And I've earned my reputation. Wonderland Inc., a party planning organization for every major player in the world, is Oz, and I'm its Wizard. I can make anything - drugs, prostitutes, deals - appear for a night and disappear just as quickly. This doesn't make me good or bad - it makes me essential.

Wonderland Inc. was my life, until a beautiful contradiction of innocence and impurity, obedience and rebelliousness named Alex Little stepped in and turned both of our worlds upside down. Welcome to Wonderland, Alex. A place where everything appears normal. But we're all mad.

Down the rabbit hole and back again...

Max Monroe blew my freaking mind with this book. The dynamic duo never cease to amaze me with their witty literary brilliance.

fairy tale with a twist

Max Monroe has another hit. Alex and Matt will keep you on the edge of your seat, jeep you guessing, and melt your panties. Joe Arden has a voice that makes you puddle and Maxine Mitchell makes you become the character.

original

A very original story line...at least it was for me. But it was very good and the narration was great and made the characters seem so real!

Wow!!

What a wild ride! Love, intrigue, and adventure! Absolutely loved this book! There were fun parallels (obviously) to Alice in Wonderland, and it was a good time picking them out. But more importantly the love story and the hot sex were pretty great. The narrators were, as always with Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden, amazing and added to how great the experience was! Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved it!

This is the first audiobook I’ve listened to written by Max Monroe and I absolutely loved it! The unique storyline is smartly written and engaging and the sexual attraction between Alex and Matt is the highlight of the story. I’m really looking forward to listening to more of this talented author’s titles. The narration by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell was excellent and definitely added to my enjoyment of this wonderful audiobook.

High Pitch Voice - Meh

Okay, so I typically love love love Maxine Mitchell; however, that being said. Every single time she mimics the princess voice it’s like nails on a chalk board. I had to pause the book since it was only two to three chapters in before I needed to stop and switch books because that voice seriously made my ears feel like they were bleeding. Again, I typically love Maxine as a lead female narrator but this particular side character in this book and her voice inflection was irritating (could be a personal thing since I do have sensitive hearing and high pitches typically give me migraines and make my ear drums feel like they are being stabbed repeatedly)

Anyways once I was able to go to a park and have my windows down volume at a lower level I was able to finish the book since I didn’t have headphones that sent the voice straight to my ear drums.

The story itself is interesting. Max Monroe is one of my favorite authors and this book is a bit different from what I’m used to reading by her. It’s also a twisted weird way of interpreting the child cartoon movie Alice in Wonderland and this book because I kept doing that in my mind the entire time.

However, this book is not one of my favorite by Monroe and I could truly connect with the lead characters. Not in the same way that you typically can find at least something that you can relate to with most of her characters.

If this book doesn’t sit well with you don’t give up on Max Monroe try checking out her Billionaires Series, Billionaire Book Club series and the Docu Series as well. Those are all truly funny and awesome. My favorite is the Billionaires Series Georgia and Brooks as well as Thatcher are my absolute favorites.

Wonderful new take of an old tale

I have always liked when an old tale gets a modernized remake. Alex in Wonderland is a darker and very naughty update of Alice in Wonderland. It's my first read by Max Monroe and it really worked for me. Alex is a down and out former bartender on a stint as a bunny at a kid’s birthday party. She finds herself being courted by Wonderland boss Matt Hadder after he notices she has skills, though finding her in her skivvies didn’t hurt.

Alex is smart and sexy and after she decides to go down the rabbit hole of Wonderland, is a quick learner and a strong h. She is loyal to Hadder and will do whatever it takes to protect him and Wonderland.

Matt Hadder is a ruthless and brutal H. He doesn’t take crap from anyone, that is until he meets Alex- she is the only one he lets question, interrupt, or talk back to him though not without punishment and the punishment is off the charts 🔥🔥🔥.

I really liked this story. I finished in a day and just kept going back for more. The narration by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell is well done. Joe Arden is one of my favorite narrator’s and listening to him portray Matt Hadder’s take no BS brutality is so hot.❤🔥🔥🔥

I really enjoyed this story. I loved his voice more than hers. It's well written. I love the storyline.

Great Listen

This was a very cute story. You know, you have the alpha male who knows what he wants, and the female protagonist who knows how to be smart and strong in her beliefs and morals. The only similarities this book has with 'Alice in Wonderland' is the names but as long as you don't expect the fantasy land from wonderland, I think you will love this book. The main thing you have to do with this book is to take the blurb to heart. If you don't like the sound of the book, then you probably won't like it, but if you think you might like it because the blurb sounds cool, then definitely give this book a go. I loved the narration, it definitely added more personality to the characters and added certain expressions that I probably wouldn't have been able to hear in my mind. I hope you decide to give this book a go. I definitely loved it. Enjoy!
