No matter how fractious the edification, it provides an excellent exordium to Ms Erin Lee Carr’s ever long journey to a hopefully forever sustainable position as one of the most gifted & prolific modern voices in documentary filmmaking. The most incisive and brutally honest self examination of addiction I’ve encountered since David Carr’s The Night of the Gun and hands down the best audiobook I’ve ever heard. Can’t wait to go back and read it again as a book.
