Alois Irlmaier (1894 bis 1959) ist neben dem Mühlhiasl der berühmteste deutsche Prophet.
In seinen Visionen erschaute er unter anderem einen Dritten Weltkrieg, der offenbar durch eine furchtbare Aggression des radikalen Islam (vielleicht im Bündnis mit anderen despotischen Mächten) gegen den Westen ausgelöst wird. Dass er ein begnadeter Seher war, bewies Irlmaier in seinem dramatischen Leben vielfach. Während des zweiten Weltkrieges konnte er beispielsweise auf paranormale Weise erkennen, ob vermisste Soldaten noch lebten oder tot waren, und in der Nachkriegszeit löste Irlmaier dank seiner Gabe eine ganze Reihe von Kriminalfällen, bei denen die Polizei im Dunklen tappte.
