When the downtrodden animals of Manor Farm overthrow their master Mr Jones and take over the farm themselves, they imagine it is the beginning of a life of freedom and equality. Penned in 1945, this political satire, stood test of time. Perhaps to our bad luck, we would find a matching situation even in early 21st century. If we were to borrow last few lines from the book, today one can not tell a capitalist, from a communist, nor a authoritarian, from a democratic leader. It appears that some remain more equal than the others. A must read!
