Publisher's Summary
Special Agent Meghan Connors's dream of one day protecting the president of the United States is about to come true. Only one assignment stands in her way.
After the vice president's rebellious daughter is threatened, Meghan is assigned to her protective detail on a secluded ranch in West Texas. Unfortunately, working with Special Agent in Charge Ash Zinders may be as tough as controlling her charge. Ash has a reputation for being critical and exacting, and he's also after the same promotion as Meghan.
But when the threats escalate and security on the ranch is breached, it becomes clear this isn''t the work of a single suspect - it's part of a sophisticated plan that reaches deeper and higher than anyone imagined. And only Ash and Meghan can put the pieces together before it's too late.

Full Trust?
Have you ever taken someone’s words at face value? DiAnn Mills “Attracted to Fire” book made me really think about the characters in it.
Intrigue and suspense at its best. Megan and Ash are keeping Lindsay safe from the bad guys. They’ll have to learn to trust each other to do so. Faith in God is the basis of truth coming to light. Rebecca Mitchell is the perfect Narrator.

Mystery
This audible book was a great book to listen too. Packed full action, very exciting had you guessing what was going to happen next. It was a book full of God's grace and His everlasting love for His sheep. Redemption in God's love no matter how far you've walked away He follows you waiting with open arms to love you back into the fold. The picture that was painted in your mind of God's amazing love and grace.

Simplistic writing
This isn’t literature. Simplistic writing, characters, and dialog. Extremely dumbed down and full of cliches.

Frustrating Read
First, in some ways if the real secret service used reasoning like the ones in this book, the President should be very worried. The agents did not clue into obvious suspects. When they did get a clue they were slow to act. They did not use what would seem to be obvious tools in their tool box and they let personal bias interfere with their investigation. I almost stopped listening in frustration. Just when I was about to throw in the towel the story turned around. I dont like when an author writes an illogical story line just to keep the book going. Write a better story instead. Many things were just implausible. I likes the narrator and the happy ending though and how good eventually conquered evil
