Zorian Kazinski has all the time in the world to get stronger, and he plans on taking full advantage of it.

A teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, Zorian is attending his third year of education at Cyoria's magical academy. A driven and quiet young man, he is consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, resenting the Kazinskis for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, Zorian has no time for pointless distractions, much less other people's problems.

As it happens, though, time is something he is about to get plenty of.

On the eve of Cyoria's annual summer festival, Zorian is murdered, then abruptly brought back to the beginning of the month, just before he was about to take the train to school. Finding himself trapped in a time loop with no clear end or exit, he will have to look both within and without to unravel the mystery set before him. He does have to unravel it, too, because the loop clearly wasn’t made for his sake, and in a world of magic even a time traveler isn't safe from those who wish him ill.

Fortunately for Zorian, repetition is the mother of learning….

I really like this story. how creative and thorough it is. I also love how Zorian is perfectly presented by his voice actor.

beautiful story, beautiful narration

The story is a page-turner and its really well thought out. The characters are pretty well written. The narration is really annoying though, the narator chooses a really annoying voice for some characters, specially female ones. These voices feel like chalk scraping against a backboard. The narration is also pretty slow. Playing this at 1.7x makes the voices bearable.

Well written and engrossing, bad narration

Nothing much needs to be said about the masterpiece of a novel, I recently picked up audiobooks and decided to give MoL a try and man the efforts were well worth it. Although most side characters accents do baffles me but once you kinda progress they start giving each of them a personality.

I love this fiction and would 100% recommend for the fans of mystical magic fantasy with a crazy time loop integration!

One of my all time favs! MORNING MORNING MORNING!

Loved the variety of accents and pauses to build the story. I ended up listening at 1.25x speed but it didn’t diminish the quality in any way. I’d read this story a few years ago but hearing the audio is a whole different way to enjoy the story

Some stories work best narrated, and this is definitely one of them
