With the focus turned toward next year in so many ways, David and Dan were pleased overall with much of what they saw in this Minnesota Twins series split with the (Los Angeles) Angels in Anaheim. David is trying to tamp down his optimism about 2027, given what he has seen from players like Walker Jenkins and Emmanuel Rodriguez. He's not sure, though, how exactly they will end up in the same lineup as Byron Buxton. Dan has questions about the back end of the bullpen after a couple more implosions, though he is confident about the starting rotation.
