The Phoenix Mercury are playing with pride to close the 2026 season, evidenced by their come-from-behind victory over the Dallas Wings on Tuesday. PHNX Mercury is reacting to that victory as Gil, Stephen and Kevin are joined by Carlan Gay, USA Sports’ WNBA play-by-play announcer who was on the call for the last-second thriller.

With Carlan in studio, they also talk about the Mercury’s season as a whole before looking ahead to Thursday’s game against the Las Vegas Aces, as he’ll be on the call once again. And while the Mercury won’t be in the postseason this year, they discuss what he expects from the eight-team field.
