Today, we are looking at the parable of the Good Samaritan, examining how Jesus redefines our neighbor as anyone God places in our path who needs help rather than someone we choose to care for. We walk through the story's cultural context, its picture of Christ as the ultimate Samaritan who came to us when we could not save ourselves, and a practical call to be observant, prepared, unhurried, and generous with the people God sets before us each ordinary day.
