We’re back with Chapter 2 of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone! In The Vanishing Glass, we meet the ten-year-old Harry living with the Dursleys, celebrate Dudley’s birthday at the zoo, and get our first real glimpse of Harry’s magical abilities.

In this episode, we talk about the Dursleys, Harry’s accidental magic, the differences between the book and the movie, and some of the details we hope the upcoming HBO series includes. We also make a few theories of our own, get distracted by British ice cream terminology, and try to figure out exactly who some of the mysterious people Harry encounters might be.

And, of course, we spin the wheel for another round of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans.
