Portland Fire ended their 2026 season with a dramatic 90-82 overtime win over the Golden State Valkyries, fueled by Carla Leite's clutch scoring. Despite a 17-27 record and sixth-place standing in the Western Conference Division, the team showed resilience with six players injured.

Hosts Kelly and Gary analyze Bridget Carleton's 26-point performance, Jordan Harrison's 10 assists, and Emily Engstler's 11-rebound double-double. They discuss the impact of injuries to Holly Winterburn, Nyadiew Puoch, and others on the roster depth.

The conversation projects a 25-win improvement for next season if the Fire address spacing issues around Engstler. Key topics include retaining Engstler as the primary rim protector and developing Jordan Harrison's playmaking skills for the upcoming offseason.

In this episode: Clutch Performances & Injury Impact · Roster Battles & Engstler's Role · Hypotheticals & Lightning Round.
