DECLARE LIGHT | WEEK 2 OCTOBER 2026SEIZE THE MOMENT! — Do Good While the Opportunity Is in Your Hands| CHIMDI OHAHUNA

What if the opportunity you need for your next blessing is hidden in a simple act of kindness you have been overlooking?

Welcome to this week’s DECLARE LIGHT Prophetic Prayer Session on the GRACELIFECOMI Podcast, hosted by Chimdi M. Ohahuna. This week, we draw inspiration from Galatians 6:10 (KJV): “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

In this powerful Scripture-based teaching and prayer session, we explore the significance of recognizing divine opportunities and responding to them with practical expressions of goodness, generosity, and love.

Through a study of the Greek words echo (to have or possess), kairos (an appointed or opportune moment), ergazomai (to work or labor), and agathos (that which is good, honorable, excellent, and beneficial), we discover an important truth: opportunities to do good may be brief, but their impact can be lasting. Sometimes, the moment to encourage someone, support a fellow believer, help a servant of God, or extend kindness to a stranger may come and pass in seconds.

Drawing further inspiration from Hebrews 13:2 and the example of the Good Samaritan, this session challenges us to move beyond transactional relationships, selfishness, and indifference. We are called to recognize opportunities to do good to everyone, while giving special attention to our brothers and sisters in Christ and those who faithfully serve the Lord.

But recognizing an opportunity is not enough. Doing good may require sacrifice, effort, time, resources, and a willingness to act even when it is inconvenient. Are you ready to seize your kairos moment?

In this week’s prophetic prayers, we ask the Lord to help us recognize opportunities to bless others, strengthen our commitment to doing good, and respond in obedience whenever such moments arise. We pray for grace to become genuine channels of kindness, encouragement, support, and blessing to those God brings across our paths.

This week, make the decision to become a good-doer! Do not allow a moment to pass when you could have encouraged someone, helped a fellow believer, or demonstrated the love of Christ. Your next opportunity to make a difference may be closer than you think.

🎧 Listen, pray along, and put your faith into action.
