Why do men keep going back to prison? In the final part of The Pathway To Prison series, Bill Anderson follows the road all the way to the gate. At least ninety-five percent of state prisoners will be released at some point. Within three years, sixty-eight percent of one large group were arrested again, and within nine years, five out of six. Behind them are more than five million American children who have had a parent locked up.

This episode asks where the pathway actually ends, and why a cell can hold a man but can’t heal him. You don’t have to have been arrested to listen. Some men build their own cells out of anger, silence, and secrets.

Bill shares what happened when he walked out of his father’s house and the wound walked out with him, and a night in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, that changed everything. Scripture: Psalm 107:10, 13, and 14, and Matthew 25:36.
